Brief description of study
This research study is being conducted to compare items in the online Penn Healthy Diet (PHD) survey to data from a 24-hour dietary recall using the online ASA24 Dietary Assessment Tool, and to validate the scoring algorithm developed for the PHD survey.
We would also like to find out if metabolites (a substance made or used when the body breaks down food) in urine collected on the same day as survey completion will correlate with the food participants ate in the 24 hours prior to collection. If so, we may be better able to put people into nutritional groups using both the PHD and urine than by just using the PHD alone.
If you agree to join the study, you will be asked to complete a series of online surveys that should take approximately one hour to complete. You will also be asked to provide a urine sample by mail.
