Brief description of study
Preeclampsia is a serious medical condition that can happen during pregnancy. It usually starts with increasing blood pressure and could affect liver, kidney or other organ functions. This study will to assess whether daily treatment with investigational drug pravastatin administered early in pregnancy reduces the rate of preeclampsia in high-risk women.
Participation will last approximately 5 years and 7 months and will include approximately 12 study visits to the study center.
Participants compensated maximum $450.
