Brief description of study
Eczema, or
atopic dermatitis, is a common skin disease among children. Use of and access
to health care for eczema is variable among children across different racial
and ethnic groups. The purpose of this study is to understand the caregiver’s
experience with caring for their child with eczema, barriers that they face in
accessing medical care, and how they decide where to go for medical care for
their child’s eczema.

dermatitis atópica, es una enfermedad de la piel común entre los niños. El uso
y el acceso a la atención sanitaria para el eczema varía entre los niños de
diferentes grupos raciales y étnicos. El propósito de este estudio es
comprender la experiencia de los cuidadores con respecto al cuidado de su hijo
con eczema, los obstáculos a los que se enfrentan para acceder a la atención
médica y cómo deciden dónde acudir para recibir la atención médica necesaria
para tratar el eczema de su hijo.
Detailed description of study
The study involves
a one-time telephone interview that will take up to 45 minutes of your time and
a 10-minute survey questionnaire that can be completed by telephone with a
member of the study team or online on your own time.

Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Caregiver of child with atopic dermatitis,Caregiver of child with eczema

Age: 18 years - 100 years

Gender: All
You may be
eligible to participate if you are an adult (18 years or older) caregiver for a
child with eczema.
