Brief description of study
The purpose of this research study is to see if a new, non-FDA-approved MRI sequence can produce images of bones that are as clear as CT images.
If you agree to participate in the study, we will collect information related to your CT study from your medical records at CHOP and you will receive a research-only MRI scan which will require up to 30 minutes of your time. This research MRI scan uses a magnet and radio waves to make a picture of the bones in the head. You will not be given any sedation in order to collect this MRI scan sequence. No contrast will be administered for this research scan. Once the information regarding your CT or MRI has been gathered, no further information will be collected from your medical records.
Subjects will receive $100 for the research-only MRI.
