Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to test different behavioral strategies to see if they are effective at reducing cell phone use while driving among Progressive Usage-Based Insurance (UBI) Snapshot policy holders. Snapshot monitors driving habits and allows Progressive to provide insurance rates based on them. The present study uses this monitoring to test ways to reduce handheld cell phone use while driving.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Driving
  • Age: 18 years - 99 years
  • Gender: All

Are enrolled in Progressive Snapshot auto insurance program. Male or Female , 18 or older. Had Snapshot handheld phone usage that was 2 minutes or greater per hour
