Brief description of study

The goal of the ASPE study is to investigate the genetic basis of Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and autism-related traits.

Individuals 3 years old or older with a diagnosis (or suspected diagnosis) of autism spectrum disorder without intellectual disability may be eligible to participate. 

We are also recruiting individuals with a deletion or mutation in the NRXN1 gene.

Detailed description of study

Participation in the study includes completing a series of online questionnaires, providing a sample for genetic testing, and wearing a sleep and activity tracking watch for 3 weeks. Participants may be compensated up to $150.
You do not need to be located in the Philadelphia area to participate. All participation can be completed from home. 

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Autism,Aspergers,ASD,AS,NRXN1,Autism spectrum disorder
  • Age: 3 years - 99 years
  • Gender: All
